International Winter Bike to Work Day is a reminder that it is possible to go green and get to work on a bike, even in adverse weather conditions. 
The holiday was created to encourage people to switch to a bicycle, even when the weather is not quite in our favour, and the idea originated in the United States and has been celebrated since 2013. 
It is also a kind of encouragement to take the first step to improve your finances, save time, live healthier and go green.
