Hi there!

June 14 is World Blood Donor Day, established by the World Health Organization!!!

The holiday appeared in the calendar in 2004 and was established in honor of Karl Landsteiner - Austrian immunologist and Nobel Prize winner for the discovery of blood groups 🥇

In 2020 in Poland there were 570 077 blood donors, and all the donations were 1 215 469! ❤️

This is an amazing result. There is no doubt that this is a very important event, because in a very simple way we can get involved in helping others. The number of blood donors continues to grow year after year, which shows how this issue is gaining in importance.

On this day, I would like to pay tribute to everyone who is committed to donating blood - you are amazing 😊!!!
