How to configure SPF/DKIM?
Hi!
Incorrect configuration of SPF and DKIM records or lack of them has a negative impact on the deliverability of emails and deterioration of the reputation of IP addresses and domains from which we send emails in SALESmanago, that might have an negative impact on business performance.
Below you can kind a key information on how to configure SPF and DKIM records.
Configuring the SPF record
The SPF record is used to authenticate an email address. Mail servers check it and determine whether a message that appears to be sent from a particular domain is authorized by that domain.
Entry structure:
Domain: yourdomain.pl
Type: TXT
Value: "v=spf1 include:_spf.jupiter.salesmanago.pl"
DKIM record configuration
DKIM or DomainKeys Identified Mail is a security system used to confirm the authenticity of sent mail. The core of this mechanism is used for authentication, so that the person who receives an email has a clear indication that the sender is the owner of the address: newsletter@mailing.firmaXYZ.pl - and not someone impersonating him.
Entry structure:
Domain:: salesmanago._domainkey.yourdomain.pl.
Type: CNAME
Value: salesmanago._domainkey.smgrid.pl.
