Hello! :Dhave you heard of Chat GPT? This is a chatbot launched by OpenAI in November 2022. It’s an artificial intelligence system that has the ability to generate text comparable to human-created content, generate images based on our descriptions and can answer the questions we ask :) Currently, it’s mainly used by scientists and developers, but who knows - maybe soon each of us will be using him? :)
May Day is celebrated not only in Poland. May 1, as Labor Day, inaugurates the beginning of the summer season almost all over Europe. In fact, this holiday is celebrated in most countries of the world. In Poland, the first days of May are both public holidays and an eagerly awaited time off. Some emphasize this special moment with red and white flags. Others focus on relaxation.- The word MAYDAY (MAJÓWKA in polish) used to mean a wreath made of a young fir tree, decorated with ribbons, which a boy would put in front of the house of a chosen girl. This wreath was usually put up in May - on the night before the first or third of May, or before the first Sunday of May, or on the night of Pentecost.Over time, the name also came to mean a trip out of town, not necessarily in May, but always in the warm seasons - spring or summer, often combined with fun or dancing.
Hi!The holidays are near, do you feel it too? 😍 We've only just been skiing and we're already thinking about holiday trips. 🛫We need to plan where to go, when, and also what to take with us?Packing a suitcase is quite a challenge! 😱My tip for accommodating everything is to roll up my clothes. This can really reduce the volume of your luggage! 😀To save a bit of space, I pour my toiletries into smaller bottles, so I don't have to take big packs when I need very little product. 😊 What are your tips? 😄
March 31 is World Backup Day. On this day, it is worth remembering how important it is to regularly back up data for users. You want to do both on a physical physical drive, but also on public or corporate transport. This can be checked provided that the level of protection is ensured so that data important to us is not stolen or fell into the wrong hands.May the memory be with you!!💻
If for some reason today hasn't started off well (traffic/snow/lack of sleep), we need to take matters into our own hands and make sure the smile doesn't disappear from our face. How? By celebrating International Black Forest Cake Day! Okay, okay, I realise that not everyone here is Gordon Ramsay, but you can always direct your steps to the pastry shop after a failed attempt. What do we have in here?Delicious chocolate layer cake🍫 Dark sweet cherries🍒 Fluffy vanilla whipped cream🍨 Dark chocolate glaze🍩Fun fact: the cake is named after the specialty liquor (Schwarzwalder Kirschwasser) of the region of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) mountain range in southwestern Germany. Enjoy!
Derived from Latin and meaning “equal night,” the equinox occurs twice a year when the sun passes over the equator, giving us nearly equal day and night. This means that there will be approximately 12 daylight hours and 12 hours of darkness. Also called Ostara or vernal equinox, it’s long been thought of as a time to celebrate the balance of light and dark, and that renewal, rebirth, and new beginnings are upon us.Here are 3 simple ways you can celebrate the Spring Equinox 😍 🌺 🌸 🌼 🌻💥 Wake Up at Dawn.Spring is associated with dawn and new beginnings. Plan to wake up and watch the sunrise. We suggest brewing a cup of your favorite herbal tea light a candle, cozy up in your favorite spot, and toast the rising sun as it ushers in this new season.💥 Connect With Nature.Grab a special someone—or go solo if that serves you better—and head outside to look for the signs of Spring. Go for a walk in the park, take a hike, pack a picnic, or throw down a Mexican blanket for a meditation sessi
I’ve just learnt that today is the I Hate Coriander Day.International I Hate Coriander Day originated in 2013, with the inception of a Facebook group entitled simply ‘I Hate Coriander.’ The sole purpose of creating the group was so that like-minded people could get together and express their utter disdain for the herb through messages and posts of all sorts. And before you laugh it off as an insignificant group, note that the number of members on it has risen to a following of more than 200,000. Such was the popularity of the group that there is even ‘I Hate Coriander’ merchandise being sold on the group. It also just goes to show that if you’re enterprising enough, money can be made from any endeavor on social media which attracts enough people.Personally, I’m a huge coriander hater so I’m glad that today is THE day. What do you think about it? Do you share the same feelings as me? Btw did you know that coriander seeds were used in burials?Romans buried their dead with coriander seeds
International Winter Bike to Work Day is a reminder that it is possible to go green and get to work on a bike, even in adverse weather conditions. The holiday was created to encourage people to switch to a bicycle, even when the weather is not quite in our favour, and the idea originated in the United States and has been celebrated since 2013. It is also a kind of encouragement to take the first step to improve your finances, save time, live healthier and go green.

To get better balance, power and agility, kickboxing is king among workouts. Experts who have studied the sport say nearly everyone -even older people who might shy away from such things-can benefit from throwing a punch.Unlike most other types of exercise, kickboxing emphasizes powerful movements. Power is different from strength, and for older adults, it’s an even better predictor of mobility and their risk for falls. Kickboxing training tends to involve shorts bouts, two to three minutes long, of intense, repetitive movement - like hitting a punching bag over and over again and kicking and kneeing a pad someone else is holding. Some research shows that even very brief stretches - just 60 seconds - of HIIT can offer the same gains in heart and lung health as 45 minutes of less-intense exercise.Kickboxing has been shown to improve fitness, power, flexibility and agility, according to a study of healthy men in their twenties who trained three days a week for five weeks. The men in the
Can you imagine even one day without turning on the TV, radio? We are bombarded with media on all sides, whether we want it or not, the world has moved forward so much that it is becoming inevitable.January 24 marks World Mass Media Day.This holiday was established by Pope Paul VI, on the day of St. Francis Selezes, who is the patron saint of journalists and all creators of social media. As Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI stressed, mass media should be guided by what is right, without offending human dignity, and emphasize family values.Mass media, broadcast content on a global scale and are massively received. Unconsidered content that goes out into the world often has the opposite effect. The first medium to be introduced was the press - 19th century (Europe, North America), film - 1920s, radio - 1930s, television - 1950s. However, without the invention of University of Pennsylvania scientists J.P. Eckert and J.W. Mauchly, we would not have computers today. Their prototype ca

Did you know that KFC on Christmas Eve is a must have in Japan? 🎄🍗In Japan, they used to eat Karaage chicken on Christmas Eve, which was very similar in taste to KFC chicken. KFC managers used a great marketing ploy which resulted in them releasing festive buckets of Kentucky chicken on Christmas Eve. Every year, a costumed Lieutenant Sanders dressed as Father Christmas stands in front of each restaurant and Japanese people queue up outside the restaurant to get their bucket. In the Land of the Cherry Blossom, there is a marketing slogan "Christmas is Kentucky".
There are many legends surrounding the tradition of Christmas stockings. One tells of Santa Claus giving a gift to the poor in the form of gold coins, which he imperceptibly tucked into their washed stockings hung by the fireplace. It is said that in the 12th century in Francia, nuns visited the poor, offering them socks full of nuts and fruit (mainly mandarins).Today, the tradition is popular in the UK and the USA. On 24 December, children hang the socks on the mantelpiece or by their beds hoping to find presents in them. In exchange for Christmas trinkets, they often leave cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
A German printer named Gerhard Lang is credited with the idea of the Advent Calendar itself. He designed cardboard Advent calendars around the turn of the century and later in the 1920s, came up with the idea of cutting out little doors that could be opened each day. Behind each door, one could expect to find a devotional picture or Bible verse. For those who are not religious, modern Advent calendars are a treat-filled way of marking off the days leading up to Christmas or Santa's arrival. 🎅 Have a great weekend😀
Celebrating Christmas is a fun, memorable occasion that’s usually spent with friends and family, and is full of fun gift giving. But the reality is, after many years of celebrating Christmas and giving gifts to the same friends/family, it’s difficult to come up with something new. It seems that you already came up with all possible gift ideas at some point. How do you deal with this kind of pleasant “issues? :)
