Prioritizing Mobile Numbers: A Vital Upgrade for SalesManago's CDP

Hello everyone, 😄We've identified a missing feature within the contact management and deduplication process in SalesManago's CDP.Currently, the only unique identifier for contacts is the email address. However, in today's world, and particularly in certain national markets, the mobile number could hold equal weight in uniquely identifying the customer, especially when multiple data sources feed into the CDP, where it may not always be possible to consistently request an email address (such as in loyalty plans, where the required contact data from the user includes email and/or mobile number).Presently, to manage customers entering the User DB with only a mobile number (without an email), SalesManago's Customer Success Team recommends:Setting up a fake email like MOBILENUM@domain.org Properly inputting the user's mobile numberThis way, SalesManago's requirement for having an email (even if fake) is met, and these users can be managed solely via SMS or Whatsapp channels.If the user late

What do we gain by using Double Opt-In?

Double opt-in is a system for adding newly acquired contacts to an e-mail list, we can have such a list in the system.It involves collecting an email address via a registration form and sending a confirmation email to that address to verify contact information before adding it to the list.Unlike the single consent system, where subscribers provide their e-mail address in the registration form and are immediately added to the e-mail list, the double consent system gives the possibility to check whether the given contact has knowingly registered, limiting the operation of bots.What are the benefits of double opt-in?The great advantage of using double consent is building a specific, real and conscious database of contacts.Since subscribers have to confirm, you know that the people on your list really wanted to sign up. Email list Opted In status after uploading to salesmanago

Hi everyone, I migrated a list of users to Salesmanago who were already opted-in on Klaviyo. They are users who have made prior transactions and active on our email. After the transfer to Sales Manago, only 30% of the contacts were with Opted-In status, the rest were Opted-out. Even after I added the Opted-In status as True on the upload file. Did anyone have this issue? If so how did you overcome this?

SALESmanago currently gives a possibility for sending dynamic Web Push notifications with two scenarios- last viewed products and products left in cart. You can send them massively or with the usage of automation processes (recommended way). If you want to set up a pop-up for days or hours, I can recommend you to use our Custom Modal Designer. 🏅This is a tool that will help you hyper-personalize your site by creating advanced and highly customizable pop-ups. 💪 Go to the Lead Generation page, select the pop-up/exit pop-up tab, and the "create new" button. Then select the wizard: Custom Modal Designer.You can create a simple pop-up with an image or an advanced one with a form - everything you need in one place! 😎After editing comes the design part - you can choose, among other things, the position on the page, change the closing button, and even set animations.Let's get to the point - settings. In the "Activation time" tab, there is an option "Display schedule" - select "Set a weekly display schedule". How do the automation rules work?

Automation rules start automatically when an event is added. In this way, we can automate responses to specific contact behaviour on the website, but also off the website (e.g. clicking on a link in an email). Automation rules can also be triggered manually for a specific contact or group of contacts at a given time in two ways:- manually on the contact's card - under the 'rules and workflow' tab, it is possible to select a specific automation from the entire list of rules available in the account,- from CDP -> Manage contacts - in this panel you can select a group of contacts, e.g. with a specific tag, and in the lower section of the page select "run a rule" and in the same way as before select the appropriate rule from the list.Important: in both cases when rules are started manually, the checkbox "Check conditions" must be checked, because without selecting it, they will be skipped.

The popup provides site visitors with additional information, for example, about current promotions and news, encouraging them to buy and leave their details. It usually shows up suddenly which makes the user's attention fully focused on it therefore it is better than forms, landing pages etc.
